Henks Medicals Ltd ("we", "us") operates henkslab.com and the diagnostic laboratory at Plot 313, Abdulsalami Abubakar Road, along Ebeano–Gudu Road, AMAC 961102, FCT, Abuja. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
What we collect
When you request a booking we collect your name, phone number, email address (optional), gender, age group, the test you request, your preferred date and time of day, referring doctor (if any), and insurance details. When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, or email, we keep the details of that correspondence.
How we use it
We use your data solely to deliver our services: confirming and managing your appointment, performing the tests you request, communicating your results to you, processing HMO/insurance claims you ask us to process, and responding to your enquiries. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Test results and medical confidentiality
Test results are released only to you, and to your referring doctor or HMO where you have requested or consented to this. Laboratory records are handled under our Quality Management System and applicable MLSCN professional standards.
Storage and security
Booking data submitted through this website is stored on our secured hosting environment and is accessible only to authorised staff. We retain booking records only as long as needed for service delivery and our legal obligations, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
Under the NDPA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact info@henkslab.com or call +234 806 843 9399. We respond to data requests within 30 days.
